We are thrilled to begin 2011 by introducing members to a new venue -- San Francisco’s culinary hit Twenty Five Lusk. Executive Chef/Partner Matthew Dolan, received his formal training at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.
His dishes are not only indicative of his culinary triumphs in New York, New Orleans, and Nantucket Island, but perhaps his greatest influences are derived from his Michelin Star experience in Helsinki, Finland. His team of well orchestrated chefs are in full view in his glass viewing kitchen, where they work with great precision in creating superb dishes. The night we visited, the restaurant was “full-up” and the kitchen staff did not miss a beat.
This is a striking venue that was painstakingly designed in order to accommodate its enthusiastic patrons.
We will feature Chef Dolan’s delicious hallmark
dishes to showcase his culinary talents complimented
by an evening of great Bordeaux selections.
In celebration of my 60th birthday last October, we
will also enjoy a 1950 Quinta Da Noval Port with
dessert.
