It is with great pleasure to present this year’s extraordinary weekend adventure at Campton Place Hotel, Union Square. The Campton Place Restaurant was just upgraded to two Michelin Stars under the masterful leadership of Executive Chef Srijith Gopinatha - the only Indian Chef in North America to hold this distinction.

 

We recently enjoyed his extraordinary tasting menu with fellow members Richard and Peggy Chan from Hong Kong. The cuisine was an exciting culinary adventure down the “Spice Route” with global flavors combined with French classical cooking techniques. It was not difficult to decide the perfect venue for a San Francisco weekend of rare wines. Given that the Chef is driven towards the highest quality seasonal ingredients the final menu will be selected as we close in on the event date.

 

Friday will feature our “Black Tie” Bordeaux evening with highly rated St. Emilion and St. Julien selections. The Saturday luncheon will feature five DRC’s along with the traditional Chairman’s Special Surprise Selection.

 

San Francisco’s famous Union Square is vibrant with the recent opening of the new Apple flagship store. There is no better time to visit the Bay Area for an IWFS experience than July.
