Alba, Italy 2020

20th Anniversary White Truffle Tour! October 31 - November 7, 2020

Milan & Alba, Italy

A Very Special Week You Do Not Want To Miss!

Welcome to this very special 20th-anniversary tour to Piedmont. This year’s tour will take on a new dimension featuring exciting new venues and personalized experiences in celebration of our two-decade milestone in conducting this annual tour.

The extraordinary cuisine of Alba and the surrounding area, cheese experiences in Bra, unparalleled wine tastings, winery tours, luncheons, and extravagant truffle dinners are only a hint at what attendees will experience during this celebratory week.

Featuring the best of Piemonte, attendees become immersed in the grand Italian dining experience and lifestyle, our Chefs providing special dishes that lay diners may never experience on their own.

The tour is in celebration of the White Truffle (Tartufo Bianco) season and designed for the serious culinary and wine enthusiast, an optimal time to experience the world’s most sought-after “Alba” White Truffle. Alba is in full celebration with its International White Truffle Festival, and restaurants proudly displaying their abundant daily harvest of white truffles. With a short eight-day shelf life, truffles should be enjoyed close to, and preferably the same day of harvest.

Being at the home of Barolo and Barbaresco offers an unparalleled wine experience. Attendees enjoy over 100 different Italian wines, many unavailable in the United States. Here attendees are introduced to wines they most likely have not experienced painstakingly produced by small producers, many of which allow us to enjoy their older prized vintages.

We enjoy Chauffeur service to all locations during the entire tour. Our stay at the beautiful Villa Meridiana (a short one kilometer from the center of Alba) is a captivating setting with sweeping views of the Langhe. Breakfast in the morning offers freshly prepared homemade culinary items, many of which are from their farm.

Our adventure begins in Milan, with three extraordinary events, two included in the tour, and one optional Friday night event that is a big hit with attendees. On Sunday, we escape to Alba. For those arriving in Milan early, our hotel is located a short three blocks from the Central Train Station, where a day trip to Venice or Florence is a little over two hours by train, or a very short train ride takes you to Lake Como.

The tour is a master class on Italian cuisine featuring many of Piemonte’s finest restaurants and chefs.

The $4,950.00 per person tour fee includes all events, lodging, and transportation (airfare to Milan not included) from Saturday, 31 October through your return to Milan’s Malpensa airport on the morning of Saturday, 7 November.

Further travel details provided upon reservation.
